Jason Dawson graduated BSME from University of Kentucky in 1999. In 2004, Jason decided to leave the “Bluegrass State” of Kentucky and joined Van Orden Engineering in growing from a 2-person firm to a 50 people company. He sold the company in 2022. He was born and raised working long hours within his family-owned tobacco farm in Owensboro, Kentucky. This is where his intense work ethic originated and has made him the successful business owner he is today. During his career Jason has worked with top sales groups such as Hunton Trane and Big Ass Fans. He transferred the sales oriented business model into the engineering field, and has revolutionized the way an engineering firm is able to benefit their clients. During the past 10 years Jason has specialized in Industrial, Religious, Commercial, Medical, and Private School Facilities. Jason has been the Project Manager and/or Engineer of Record on over 200 projects per year for the last 10 years. He brings his expertise in equipment and systems as well as a working knowledge of virtually all types of HVAC projects. Now owner and Chief Executive Officer of 9BA MEP, Jason’s forward-thinking allows for the firm to be in a state of constant transformation, excelling and breaking barriers in the engineering world.
